The American Cancer Society, Inc. (ACS) West Region is partnering with the RMPHTC to develop and launch an interactive ECHO learning series to improve colorectal cancer screening rates in Oregon primary care organizations. In this series, participants will learn about tools and strategies to improve patient outcomes related to colorectal cancer screening rates in support of the 80 by 18 goal set by the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable. Dates for trainings include from 12-1:00 PST:
August 3: Colorectal cancer screening options
August 10: How to identify patients for screenings
August 17: Creating a policy for your health center
August 24: Communicating with patients
August 31: Coordinating care across the continuum
We encourage attendance by multidisciplinary staff from each practice. Clinical, quality improvement and administrative leadership are invited to register and to participate in this ECHO learning community. Each participant registers as an individual and must connect to each session from their own device.
This ECHO learning community is FREE and open to staff and clinicians working in Oregon.
