Greater access to the right care is good news for PacificSource Medicare members, which is why we waive the three-day skilled nursing facility (SNF) rule. As a provider, you're able to prescribe SNF care without the customary three-day hospital stay. 

If a PacificSource Medicare member is failing home health, is unsafe in their current environment, and would benefit from skilled services, Medicare Health Services can facilitate an admission to a SNF with approval from the primary care provider office.
